SALES OF ALCOHOL TO UNDER 21’S

Proposal from September TCM agenda (urgent items) to consider taking up initiatives with local alcohol retailers on the sale of alcohol to U21’s

SCANNER & HARD DRIVE

        To consider the proposal to purchase of a scanner and hard drive for backing up the      

         computer files in the Town Council office (urgent item from September 07 TCM)

MARKET PLACE

1.       To consider and agree plan of market stalls for Friday 26th October when Watsons Amusements on Market Place.

2.       To consider verbal request from Anne Smith, on behalf of all market traders, to advertise the Friday market to increase revenue

3.       To obtain initial agreement from Town Council to purchase two market stalls for Mr Prentice, market trader selling plants & flowers, as he currently provides his own. Quotes will be obtained for approval

EASINGWOLD TOWN COUNCIL -V-BYLAND ESTATES

1.        To consider appointing a group, possibly F&GP committee, and granting delegated authority to deal (and have power to act) with all matters relating to the ongoing case; namely the Conditional Fee Agreement and any other matters arising until the next Town Council Meeting

2.        To consider and decide whether to sign up to Grays Solicitors offer of a Conditional Fee Arrangement (CFA)

C.O.Z.I.E. REPORT

To note a copy of the Lead Youth Worker's report, presented at COZIE's recent AGM in September 2007

DELEGATED AUTHORITY TO TOWN CLERK AND ASSISTANT

        To consider granting delegated authority to Town Clerk and Assistant Town Clerk for                       

         permissions for small events, stalls etc on Market Place and on the Butter Cross,  by    

         consulting with the Chair or Vice Chair without presenting to the Council at the          

         Town Council meeting

        To formally accept the returned shield from Mr Walker’s estate

1.       To note responses already returned under delegated powers and consider Town Council response to planning applications received (see list attached) 

This item will be taken at 8.30pm.

2.       To note decisions on planning applications considered by Hambleton District Council and total of applications for new dwellings approved.

3.       To receive feedback from Councillors present at the Planning Hearing re Blacksmiths Cottage held at the Galtres Centre on 4 October 2007.
