MEMORIAL PARK

9.1 Play builder Scheme - To receive an update from Councillor Shepherd (Chairman of the Recreation Committee) and decide a way forward.

9.2 To consider the vandalism in the park, in particular the broken bottles in the play bark areas, and decide the appropriate action.

SEATS

11.1 To consider the replacement seat for Long Street (near the Police House)

11.2 To consider the withdrawal of financial help from EDCCA for the provision of a new seat at the bus stop outside Paradise Medical Centre

ROYAL BRITISH LEGION - Easingwold 2009

12.1  Poppy Appeal; to consider the approval of the purchase of the Poppy Wreath at a cost of £18.75 which the Town Mayor will lay at the Easingwold War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday, 8th November 2009

12.2  To consider granting permission for the erection of a gazebo on the Market Green (outside Towler’s) to sell poppies from on 30th & 31st October and 6th & 7th November

12.3  Remembrance Day Parade; to consider contributing to the cost of the band to lead the parade (up to £150)

PLANNING MATTERS

22.1To note responses already returned under delegated powers and consider Town Council response to planning applications received (see list attached)

22.2 To note decisions on planning applications considered by Hambleton District Council and total of applications for new dwellings approved.

To consider exclusion of members of the press and public under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 for items 24-27, due to the confidential nature of the business

STAFFING
To receive a report from the Staffing Committee and to consider the following resolutions:

24.1  Easingwold Town Council endorses the emergency action taken by the Clerk to write and accept the resignation from the Assistant Clerk.

24.2  Easingwold Town Council endorses the Staffing Committee recommendation that the Terms & Conditions of any new employee be reviewed, particularly to amend sick leave and overtime.
