Market Days

In 1639 George Hall obtained from Charles I Letters Patent under the Privy Seal to hold a free market at Easingwold every Friday. In 1922 the Easingwold Branch of the British Legion purchased the market rights and conveyed them to the Parish Council.

The market is still held every Friday and is one of the most successful in the area. There is also a Farmer's Market which is held on the third Wednesday of each month.
